In 1993, the president of Thank-U Plaques & Gifts, John
Prete, founded the company with the vision of providing his current clients of
John Prete Co. Inc. (the parent company) a beautiful and unique "Customer
Appreciation Gift" to give to their customers. The original name of the
company, Thank-U. Thank-U, was coined so as to establish a unique and
descriptive name of the product he was selling at the time. As more and more
people became aware of the product he sold and the service he gave, the company
name eventually evolved into Thank-U Plaques & Gifts. Now 12 years later
The Thank-U Company paved the way for us to expand our product line and
offer various Awards and Plaques for the retail customer.
Over the years, The Thank-U Company has made our mark in the
promotional awards market by providing unique and innovative imaged on wood and
glass pieces to the retail market. Today we sell unique Plaques, Awards,
Trophies & Gifts of all kinds. We use many different techniques, mediums
and suppliers to provide us with the unique pieces we offer.
Although we use traditional methods, (ie. Laser Engraving,
Sandblasting etc.), our company also uses a process called "Laser Imaging".
With this process, we are able to image photos, logos & artwork onto wood,
glass and multiple different substrates. The process, pioneered by us, is
simply beautiful and provides consumers with a completely different and unique
way to display their favorite picture, document or company logo. Over the past
few years our process has become extremely popular especially the motor-sports,
bridal, memorial and corporate awards market.
